Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") apply to WisdomOcean, the web app at https://wisdomocean.pages.dev ("the App"), created and owned by Shaik Ismail ("I", "me", "the owner"). By using the App you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1. Who can use the App

You must be at least 18 years old, or use the App with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian. If you sign in with Google, you must also meet Google's own age requirements.

2. Ownership of the App

The App, including its name "WisdomOcean", design, layout, themes, icons, text written for the App, and source code, is © 2026 Shaik Ismail. All rights reserved. No part of the App may be copied, modified, republished, sold, licensed or used to build another product without my written permission. Being able to view the App's code in a web browser does not give you permission to reuse it.

3. Your permission to use the App

I give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable permission to use the App for your own non-commercial purposes, free of charge, in line with these Terms.

4. Your content

The quotes, images, notes, categories and favorites you add ("Your Content") belong to you. I do not claim any ownership of them.
Your Content is stored on your own device and, if you sign in with Google, in your own Google Drive. I do not have access to it. See the Privacy Policy.
You are responsible for Your Content. Only add material you have the right to use, and respect the copyright of authors, photographers and other creators.
You are responsible for keeping your own copies. The App offers "Back up (export)" for this.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

use the App for anything unlawful, or to store or share unlawful, harmful or infringing material;
copy, resell, rebrand or redistribute the App or its code;
try to disrupt, overload or gain unauthorised access to the App or to other people's data;
use automated means to misuse the App.

6. Google sign-in and Google Drive

Signing in with Google and syncing with Google Drive are optional. When you use them, Google's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy also apply. You can disconnect the App from your Google account at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions.

7. Availability and changes

The App is provided free of charge. I may update, change, suspend or stop the App, or any feature of it, at any time. I will try to give notice of major changes where reasonably possible.

8. No warranty

The App is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or that data will never be lost.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, I am not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for any loss of data, arising from your use of, or inability to use, the App.

10. Ending your use

You may stop using the App at any time. I may withdraw your permission to use the App if you break these Terms.

11. Changes to these Terms

I may update these Terms from time to time. The effective date above shows when they last changed. Continuing to use the App after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of India.
